A dog can’t all of a sudden decide that it’s already fed up with bones and meat, take off from the owner’s house and go to other owner with a bigger house to become a chef. A person, on the other hand, can decide on whatever he wants. The question to ask for yourself is – what do you want? Or what is your niche? Do you want to be a doctor, lawyer, engineer, singer, dentist, and many more? One fact is definitely true – it is hard to be a human being? A person’s success depends on how well he can adapt to his environment and how he can use his skills. You may choose to develop your tools and knowledge, pursue passions and interest, design your environment, change career, etc.

Success is equal to genuine happiness is equal to optimal adaptation. In the end, we’re dealing with one factor for your success. There is no seven keys or ten considerations. This one key is universal, it does not matter who you are or where you’re from. It is about meditation.

Meditation means consciousness. It is about the things you perceive – whether good and bad. Perception is reality and meditation is everything. All meditation style is about focus.

The two main type of meditation are:

Human survival is just about survival of the most firm, dependable and stress-resistant. The remedy to distress is only compassion. This also means that survival of the fittest means survival of the most compassionate. True success and happiness comes from demonstrating compassion within yourself and compassion within you and your special abilities is optimal adaptation.

Vincent Van Gogh was right about our subconscious learning from our experience. This is one way to change our memories, but it is not easy to go head to head against your subconscious.

There are two easier ways to change your subconscious messages, thus allowing us to manifest abundance. The first we mentioned in the last article – Ho’oponopono. This Hawaiian method clears all old messages if you keep at it, day in and day out. It requires commitment but it certainly works. You simply have to understand that most of what you think is data, data, data and will not move you forward to inspiration or clarity or abundance.

Ho’oponopono teaches that we are 100% responsible for everything in our lives. What we are experiencing right now has been brought about by our beliefs, and the programs replaying. What are Binaural Beats?

The other way is to change subconscious messages by using binaural beats for meditation, or guided meditation. Binaural beats must be used with stereo headphones, and a stereo wave input. Using your MP3 player is not going to do it. You need a wave format.

An example of how binaural beats works is that the left headphone will input a frequency of, say, 12 hz, and the right headphone will input a frequency of 22 hz, and your brain will find the difference. Now, it is hard to stay awake during Delta because there is less body awareness, but with practice it can be done.

Gamma brain waves are a newer discovery. Beta is 12 hz to 20 hz and this is our normal, energetic, wide awake but somewhat stressed frequency. Gamma is faster, running at 20 hz to 40 hz. It is not more stressed, however, but more compassionate. Gamma is common among the most disciplined and experienced meditators. Gamma is associated with high levels of compassion, high intelligence, high self control and natural happiness. People with higher Gamma frequency also are known to have increased sensory experience and great memories.

Using Binaural Beats to Change Your Subconscious Memories:

Beta is the normal brain frequency for your conscious mind. At Beta, your conscious brain is wide awake and is operating as the guard at the gate of your unconscious. Your unconscious is millions of times more powerful than your conscious mind, so once an idea passes from your conscious to your unconscious, it will be replayed over and over again.

So, let’s say you’re sitting at the breakfast table. You are 10 years old and your father is teaching you something. You know your friends are waiting and you are anxious to leave. Your father senses your impatience, smiles and sends you off to play even while calling you an “impatient, ungrateful child…”. This will be defended against, and will not seep into your unconscious because you are in Beta.

But let’s say you are in school and have been bored by the teacher’s repetition of the spelling lesson and you are looking out the window at the park, imagining yourself playing outside. You are probably in Alpha, or even Theta while daydreaming. The teacher calls on you and you didn’t hear either the question or the context, but you do hear your name and see the teacher’s face. You look up but can’t answer. The other kids laugh and the teacher tells you to “pay attention”. You internalize some criticism and perhaps some shame at this situation. This does make it past the gate into your unconscious because the guard (always in Beta) was not there at the Alpha-Theta level. In the future, you may experience some anxiety, and perhaps shame when you are a participant during a spelling lesson.

Perhaps you want to be a writer. You find that you have a resistance to writing, not realizing that you have some sense of criticism or shame while you are working on your craft. You are not going to remember what happened in school when you were a child, but since your subconscious remembers and repeats everything, you might find that you are afraid to send your work off to a publisher – out of shame and fear of criticism.

You can change that subconscious memory using Ho’oponopono or by using brainwave entrainment or binaural beats to get to alpha or theta. You can then feed a new message into your subconscious. “I am a great speller and a great writer and any publisher who reads my work will enjoy it.”

Positive Messages:

This was an example of a positive message. Sometimes people think that simply repeating positive messages will reverse their negative memories or negative messages. I cannot emphasize enough that repeating a message during a Beta brainwave frequency is not going to get to your subconscious – no matter how sincere you are.

You will only have access to your subconscious when your mind is in an Alpha or Theta or Delta frequency. So, if you think positive messages are valuable, learn to meditate or get a good binaural beat package.

Meditation Made Easy

For anyone who has tried to meditate on a regular basis you will know that it is not always easy.

First finding the time to put aside for meditation can be difficult and then turning off the mind chatter and making good use of your time can be even harder.

I am a big believer in easy meditation. I understand the benefits of long and intense meditation sessions.

However I really think that a person can get a huge amount of benefit from a simple 10 – 20 minute meditation session at some point during the day.

Set Time Aside

I have never been good at sticking with a regular meditation schedule. After trying for some time I decided that in order for meditation to work for me it would have to be flexible. By flexible I mean that my meditation sessions would have to spontaneously fit within my day.

I no longer try to wake up early and meditate before my day begins. For one thing I often ended up falling back to sleep and then after several days of this I would inevitably give up.

Now I tailor my short meditation sessions to suit my day. Sometimes I will do it in the morning; other times I do it while sitting at a park around lunch time. Other times I take a few moments after dinner to tune out and relax. Basically I do whatever works on any given day.

If you are having a hard time setting a regular time aside for your meditation sessions, don’t beat yourself up, just find another way that works for you.

Use an External Stimulus

When you only have a short period of time to meditate you want to make every second of that time count. It can often take quite a few minutes to turn off the mind chatter and truly tune out and tune within.

I found that listening to a binaural beats recording during my meditation session made a huge difference for me. The binaural brainwave audio almost immediately helped me to relax and begin meditating. The feeling you get from meditation with binaural beats must be felt in order to understand. Basically I feel a little like I am floating and my conscious mind feels a little like it goes to sleep.
