Smoking is a god-awful habit. It doesn’t only endanger your health and puts you at risk for a myriad of complications and diseases, but it physically makes you look bad, based on the bad skin and yellow teeth most smokers have. Not only that, it affects the way you smell, and the way everything you own smells! All these should really encourage smokers to give up this nasty habit.
There are many ways to quit smoking, but the best way to quit, if you ask me is to use hypnosis to stop smoking. You may be wondering why I think this is the best way. What will you get if you use hypnosis to stop smoking instead of other methods? Allow me to convince you with these reasons:

1. Using hypnosis to stop smoking gets you to the root of the problem- Hypnosis works because it doesn’t cure what is just there. Oftentimes, what we see in front of us is merely a manifestation of something deeper. The smoking addiction that most people have usually stems from some deeper issue. Hypnosis tries to get to the bottom of that by taking the smoker back to the past. The hypnotherapist tries to find an experience or an emotion that the smoker felt that made him start smoking. Once the hypnotherapist understands the connection, he tries to break it and create a new one.

2. Hypnosis will not result in other side effects- As previously mentioned, there are other ways to stop smoking, such as using nicotine patches, or different kinds of medication. However, such methods come with them various side effects. You may effectively quit, but you may find yourself suffering from other things, which will make you question if you’ve made the right decision.

3. Hypnosis as a way to stop smoking is highly effective- About ¾ of individuals who have turned to hypnotherapy to cure them of their cigarette addiction have been met with success. Percentage wise, that is about 75% percent! Compared to other methods to quit, that statistic is quite high!
